Salzburg 2007

It has been months since my last update. Here are some belated photos of my trip to Salzburg during the easter break in 2007(6 April-8 April).
Salzach river, the old town of Salzburg and Festung Hohensalzburg(the castle on the hill) are the landmarks for the fourth-largest city in Austria.

Excited in front of the residence of Salzburg's famous son- Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
If you don't know who is him, here is his statue. By the way , a confectioner named his specially made product after this Mozart and it is called Mozartkugel(english: Mozart ball). It is a
marzipan ball wrapped with chocolate. Very tasty... But beware of the fake Mozartkugel!
Sound of Music fans out there, this is the Mirabell Garden where Sound of Music was filmed. According to wikipedia, Maria and the children sing the song "Do-Re-Mi" here. I think I am one of the very few to have been to Salzburg and have not watched the whole complete movie ever before. Failed to stay on until the end everytime.
The other end of Mirabell Garden.

Up to the 1972m high Untersberg mountain.

This is the first time I see so many easter eggs! You can only buy easter eggs in this shop. Wonder what they sell when easter season is over.
The full cast of the Salzburg trip. Wait....
How can I forget Jonathan. He was our photographer throughout the trip. All photos in this post are credited to him. Thanks Jonathan!
